Submission rules

Instructions for Abstract Preparation

  • The abstract may be prepared in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. If prepared in Portuguese or Spanish, the version submitted after acceptance must include a translation into English (Abstract).
  • Submissions will be accepted starting on March 19, 2026, with a final deadline of April 19, 2026, at 23:59 (strict deadline). Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts must be original and not previously published up to the date of submission to the congress.
  • Submissions must be made exclusively through the website via the online form. Abstracts sent by any other means will not be accepted.
    Each presenting author may submit up to three (3) abstracts. There is no limit on the number of times a participant may appear as a co-author.
    The abstract must be prepared in a structured format, as follows:

a) Title
b) Authors
c) Institution
d) Introduction and Objective
e) Methods
f) Results
g) Discussion
h) Conclusion

  • Bibliographic references must not be included in the text;
  • The abstract must contain a minimum of 2,500 and a maximum of 3,500 characters (including spaces) and must be written in standard formal Portuguese, English, or Spanish;
  • The title must contain a maximum of 200 characters;
  • The abstract must be written as a single paragraph, in a structured format: 1) Introduction; 2) Objective; 3) Methods; 4) Results; and 5) Conclusion;
  • The institution(s) where the work was conducted, as well as the names of the authors, must not be mentioned in the body of the text in order to ensure anonymity during the review process, under penalty of rejection;
  • Bibliographic references must not be included in the abstract;
    Include three keywords, which should preferably follow the standardized terminology for indexing – Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS);
  • Authors are advised to refrain from using abbreviations, limiting their use to cases of strict necessity for character economy and only for expressions that appear repeatedly in the text; such expressions must be written out in full at their first occurrence;
  • Methods and results must be presented as clearly as possible, and conclusions must be based on the data presented. Expressions or ideas such as “the results will be presented and discussed later…” will not be accepted;
  • By submitting their work, authors implicitly declare compliance with all legislation and ethical standards governing research involving humans and animals, including approval by Research Ethics Committees and Animal Research Ethics Committees;
  • Submission of the abstract represents a commitment by the author(s) to present the work if it is accepted during the event;
  • Accepted abstracts must contain the same content that will be presented at the event, and the names of the authors and institutions will not be corrected afterward. Names written incompletely (through abbreviation or omission of one or more surnames) will not be changed and will appear in the official program and digital certificate exactly as provided by the corresponding author at the time of submission;
    The corresponding author will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their work exclusively by email on May 5, 2026;
  • Submission of abstracts implies that the author(s) agree to the rules established by the Scientific Committee for evaluation, as well as authorization for reproduction in print or electronic form in publications under the responsibility of the organizing and/or supporting entities; and
  • The review process is confidential, and reviewers sign a confidentiality agreement prohibiting them from discussing the evaluation outside the Review Committee.

Presentations

Accepted papers will be presented in poster sessions according to the event schedule.

For registrations in the online format, submission of the e-poster in PDF format will be required, following the provided template.

There will be no oral presentation of e-posters during the congress. Accepted papers will be made available during the event for attendees to consult.
